How Can I Join?
Joining #TeamDEWC and participating in the Vancouver Half Marathon and 5k is easy. Here’s how you can get started:
- Sign Up for the Race: Follow our affiliated link and choose between the Half Marathon, the 5k or even the kids 1k, in-person or virtual, and complete the registration process.
- Join #TeamDEWC: Make sure to select The Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre as your preferred charity – join our team or create your own – to ensure your participation supports the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre – see our guide
- Start Fundraising: Once registered, set up your fundraising page and start reaching out to friends, family, and colleagues to help you reach the $250 goal before Monday June 24th, 10am PST.
- Train and Prepare: Get ready for the race day. Stay motivated by joining group runs and engaging with our supportive community. Join our Strava club for some extra support!
